Information for Online Students


The Continuing Education Centre is committed to providing quality training experiences for our students.

Are you ready to learn on line?
Its important that you have the skills and IT equipment to successfully learn on line.

Skills:
Do you use the internet to research or find information?
Do you have basic computer skills? - use a mouse, use a keyboard, basic typing?
Do you have any problems with reading and writing?

Equipment:
Can you access a computer with internet connection with a minimum of 28k modem?
Do you have a printer to enable you to print your learning materials?
To access some learning resources you may need to download adobe acrobat reader these instructions can be found in the frequently asked questions on the CEC online system.

What if I need additional support?
If you are not confident to complete the online course you can purchase additional support from a CEC mentor who can guide you through the course. Mentoring is available for all Frontline Management, Project Management and Financial Services accredited courses. View the tutorial support units available on the online catalogue.

How do you pay for the course?
All on line courses are paid for using the e-store with a credit card in our secure payment site.

What about GST?
The GST inclusive price has been quoted for all on line courses. Tax invoices will be provided when you have paid for your course.

Do I get a Certificate?
Certificates are issued automatically on successful completion of the on line courses and are printed by the students. For accredited courses such as Frontline Management, Project Management and Financial Services certificates are provided when all assessments have been successfully completed. You should receive your certificate with four (4) weeks of completing the course.

What if I am not happy with my course or have a complaint about the Continuing Education Centre?
