CHC30102 Certificate III in Aged Care

This course will prepare you as a personal care assistant to work in an aged care facility. These workers carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual's peronsal care and/ or other activities of living. These workers report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers. Subjects include; personal care, dementia, communication, medications, safety procedures and information requirements.

CHC30102/CHC301202 Certiificate III in Aged Care and Home and Community Care

Workers in this occupational group work primarily in Residential and Community areas under direct supervision within clearly defined organisational guidelines and service plans. These workers carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individuals personal care and/or other activities of living. These workers report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers. Subjects include; communicate appropriatley with clients and colleagues, support the older person to meet their emotional and psychosocial needs and work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers.
